About Kakahuette
Two friends, one city, since 2016.
In 2016, two French friends living in Hong Kong looked for photographs of the city to hang in their flats and couldn't find any they wanted to live with. So they started Kakahuette: limited-edition prints by photographers who live in Hong Kong, of places you can name.

Our story
From two flats to 16 countries
-
Started in Hong Kong
We were looking for photographs of the city for our own walls and couldn't find any that were well chosen and well printed.
-
Pop-ups and press
We showed the first prints at pop-up exhibitions, including at theDesk, and Hong Kong magazines started writing about them.
-
Hong Kong, only
We tried other cities and styles. Our customers kept asking for one place, so every photograph is now of Hong Kong.
-
Today
More than 900 prints in homes and offices in 16 countries, from Mid-Levels and Sai Kung to London and Singapore.

Amazing
"After living in HK many years ago, I always wanted to buy a nice memory for my home. At first I was a bit resistant given the price, however when I unpacked my print I was really impressed with the high quality and detail. Delivery to the UK took less than a week. Will definitely order again."
