Pau Iglesias is an Architect from Barcelona (Catalonia), with a deep passion for photography. He is always looking for a way to convey emotion to his architectural captures.

 

After living and working in the Netherlands, Spain, the United States and Brazil, he returns to Barcelona, where he works in his office, ib22 Architects. There is too many information that is no useful, inside the cities, too many advertising. And people usually forget about keeping it simple. His work tries to reach a minimalist and clean effect, analyzing each element to be photographed, looking for an interesting point of view and forcing an almost abstract vision. He thinks that Minimal is not only an architectural style. It is a way of thinking, a way to understand the world, a way of living. Every city has interesting spots, what he does is walk around the streets and trying to have a critical eye. Details and textures are very interesting if you look patiently at them.
