“We are the first generation to know we’re destroying the world, and we could be the last that can do anything about it”

Lee Mumford
Originally from the UK, Lee is an aspiring photographer based in Hong Kong who loves to focus his attention on Cityscape and Landscape photography. Pilot by trade, this has given Lee the opportunity to travel the world and has visited over 40 countries and counting. Lee uses the world of photography to bring back some of the wonderful sights and create long lasting memories. He uses photography as a form of meditation as it allows him to completely switch off from the real world and purely focus on what’s in front of him.
Lee’s continued passion in creating high quality images has helped him to achieve multiple awards and being featured in a number magazines. Lee’s kit of choice is a Nikon D750 and a DJI Mavic Pro 2 for his aerial work. Having been lucky enough to travel the world, this has really helped Lee understand the impact humans are having on the environment. Flying planes for a living isn’t the most environmentally friendly profession so when he travels to destinations, he strives to use the most environmentally friendly way of getting around. He has also cut his plastic consumption at home and whilst travelling by over 80% as he continues to research plastic alternatives and change lifestyle habits. A quote from the WWF that really hit home was “we are the first generation to know we’re destroying the world, and we could be the last that can do anything about it”.
